Our bowling team actively bowls in two leagues in the fall and winter. In our military league we took 1st place and in the off-base civilian leagues we fell in the last week from 1st to 3rd place. I took my winnings and purchased ..... a new bowling bowl! My favorite ball to this point is the Motiv produced Venom Shock. It also happens to be the favorite ball of the greatest bowler in the world right now, E.J. Tackett. With the prize miiney I purchased a Motiv Black Venom reactive rosin ball. This is a great ball for some but it's certainly giving me some issues. The ball breaks very well but it starts breaking as soon as it touches the lanes regardless of the amount of oil available.
The first day I used it, I did pretty good with it but the second use was terrible. I couldn't control the hook at all. I used it today for the third time and did quite well with it. Will the goodness continue or not? Stay tuned and we'll all find out!

Okay, in case you haven't noticed, this site has been upgraded to Joomla 5.X. Actually I'd be surprised if a user did notice because most of 5.x is on the development side. I'm also developing a search function with the capability to search down to individual search terms. The system is actually for another site I administer but I first develop and test on this site.

I'm in the process of converting all of the media postings from HTML to internal Joomla files. This will allow the software to spilt everything up into contingent files and post them individually to the system database. This should allow the system to retrieve file segments faster and reconstitue them into an item display. I will be monitoring and timing queries and file displays for a few months and then I'll develop and post a report on my findings. Later.

Yes, as you're probably aware, this site has been down. I won't go into detail why, but it was a fatal error! Actually, it fits into my plans so it wasn't too big a loss. I had wanted to take the Joomla portal down and go back to experimenting with HTML, scripts, PHP and etc. So standby and in a few days I should start posting some new information on various tech projects.
